I am wishing for fall. I made this yesterday thinking maybe cooler days will come. I hate to say but it looks like we are in for several more 100 degree days. I can dream of fall!
This is my new inbox for my desk at school. It was a yard sale find. It was tan and looked like a ruler with a red apple on top. Your classic teacher style. I want it to say " me" so white spray paint, ribbons, buttons and bling. I think it is just right now!
This is a memo board that my daughter made. I am working on mine but it still need some work. Guess what it's made from? A Dollar Tree cookie sheet. We wrapped the cookie sheet in material, added ribbons, buttons, etc... We bought round magnets at Wal-mart and added buttons. They are fun to make and cost little. They would be great at a desk, kitchen and who knows where else.
My niece also gave me this cute little table. I think it is so cute, but would it look better white? The finish is in great shape so do I paint it or not? Let me know what you think.
My niece brought me a box of junk because she was moving. I really liked these but they were just plain. I embellished them just a little. I put the sassy girl look to them and now they are great. What would we do without hot glue?
This is my first try at painting on a canvas. I really enjoyed the process and had great company at the King's Mansion in Heber Springs. We are starting a group of crazy artist (I guess that would describe us.) We had a lot of laughs last night.
This is my new (used) patio table/chairs. I found this at Ruby Jane's in Greenbrier, Arkansas. It was calling my name so it now lives at my house. I love to have morning coffee under the ceiling fan. It's just me and the birds. This is my "me" time.
A friend found this little bird for me while we were out junking. I really like her, so I made her a home. It has some of my favorite things: vintage buttons, old clip earrings, lace, flowers, shells and ribbon.
I am working on transforming my dining room into the cottage look. I am in love with white. I didn't realize how many different shades there could be of white. The is my newest addition. Isn't the cabinet cute? I love it! If you are in the area you need to visit the King Mansion in Heber Springs Arkansas it is awesome.
I am tired as a dog. Boy that's a strange saying! I have a booth now at Searcy at Green Alley Antiques. I was bringing my first piece of furniture in and a lady bought it at the door. Wow, what a start. More pictures tomorrow.
